Here is an oral interview with Andy Morris of the University of Virginia in the US taken in October 2000. Andy is a PhD candidate in history and sometimes works for the Virginia Centre for Digital History. This interview focuses upon his dissertation with the general theme of the interview being the rise and fall of the American welfare state. This interview was taken on the palatial lawns of Thomas Jefferson's Academical Village at the University of Virginia (It was designed by Thomas Jefferson but I don't think that he actually built it). It was originally recorded as a test-interview for milkbar.com.au, however I did not allow for the light so there is only sound.
